"A Lady on a Mission"
Melanie has an impressive track record for developing and leading several US and Canadian companies to unprecedented levels of success. She contributes her success to three core beliefs:
- People come before profit.
- If you look after people, they will look after your business.
- Success is a Team Sport based on win-win propositions.
Paying it forward is Melanie's mantra and H-TRIO™ is a result of that. This unique company is all about people and Solutions for Positive Living. (She has even created a position in the company for Facilitators to earn the right to serve on the Board of Directors.) She wants to make the world a better place and believes bringing people together and empowering them is the best way to make that happen.
It might surprise you to know that H-TRIO™ is not Melanie's dream or ultimate goal. Melanie's true passion is children and she believes our future is in the hands of our Children of today. Her dream is to build Camps that offer programs to build children's self esteem. H-TRIO™ has been created to fund these camps. This is bigger than a dream...it's her legacy.

- Business Woman Canada featured Melanie on the front cover of their November/December 2002 issue alongside a prominent article detailing her business and leadership successes.
She also led the way in being recognized for 3 of their achievement awards in 2003.
- In recognition of her outstanding contribution to the Direct Selling industry, Melanie was further honored with the Ivan P. Phelan Lifetime Achievement Award. This esteemed award is the premier acknowledgment in the industry for any individual that has contributed significantly to the goals of the Direct Sellers Association, as well as the growth of their marketplace as a whole in Canada.
